Furnished in country style our house meets all requirements of a cultivated 4-star hotel. The rooms at the Walserwirt Hotel are perfectly suitable for ceremonies and conferences of all kinds for up to 250 persons. Big weddings or small seminars – we supply the suitable equipment for any occasion. The village of Wals is conveniently located only a few kilometers away from historic downtown Salzburg – Mozart‘s city –, the airport and the Autobahn. It provides an ideal basis for a successful event with a momentous social program.

The small wellness area is the icing on the cake of your vacation. Sauna, herbal sweat chamber and an indoor pool which is heated all year round help you find harmony and peace even after a hectic workday. Come and feel at home! We serve typical Salzburg specialties from our in-house butcher‘s in our restaurant, our „Bürgerstube“ (typical locally furnished room) or in our atrium garden, when the weather is fine. In the wine cellar you will find an assortment of exquisite wines. Look forward to a pleasurable culinary experience! The in-house butcher shop dates back to the year 1688. Since then we have been the number one in Wals cultivating the domestic eating culture. Preserving our identity has always been of special importance to us. With its home-made meat, sausage and ham specialties the Santner butcher‘s shop guarantees top quality and excellent flavor. We buy all ingredients and products from local farmers.

How to get there by car: Arriving from ViennA (A1): Exit: Wals / Lofer, take the State Road (Bundesstraße) straight ahead in the direction of “Walserberg”, at the 2nd red light turn to the right, after 500 meters you will find our Hotel Walserwirt on the left side. Arriving from Munich (A10): Exit: Salzburg-West then take the exit „Wals“, on the State Road turn left towards Wals, at the 2nd red light turn to the right to Wals, after 500 meters you will find our Hotel Walserwirt on the left side. Arriving by train: Take a taxi or the bus from the Salzburg main train station (Hauptbahnhof) to get to our Hotel Walserwirt. Distance: approx. 7 km. Arriving by airplane: Take a taxi or the bus from the Salzburg W.A. Mozart Airport to get to our Hotel Walserwirt. Distance: approx. 3 km.
